Our Position

We believe in an individual’s right to keep and bear arms.  The intent of our forefathers was to provide that arms not only be suited for domestic utility and defense, but comprise sufficient means to assemble a militia capable of protecting a State from oppression.

We do not believe the Second Amendment is an outdated concept or an anachronism.

We believe that proponents of gun control, to forward an agenda of disarmament, have ignored historical, judicial, forensic, scientific, and anthropological studies / evidence that prove firearms have been, and continue to be, a vital component in our security and freedom.

Evidence to the contrary is almost always ascribed to an epidemiological study. Epidemiology is the study of the causes, distribution, and control of disease. The scientific integrity of epidemiological studies, treating gun ownership as a disease, is ludicrous propaganda.  This is an intellectually dishonest argument that ostensibly makes the case that the right to keep and bear arms should be revoked because it is unhealthy. Thankfully, this approach is so flawed that the results of these studies have oft been discredited, disproven, or discovered to actually be fraudulent.

Gun control is a divisive wedge issue that has been historically used to divide rural and urban voters.  Many Democrats are frustrated by this and feel that individual gun ownership is an important right and are urging lawmakers to consider the ramifications of doing nothing to protect it.

We support Democratic leadership and those policies that defend our Second Amendment rights and our beliefs surrounding those rights.
